Guess where the Concert for the Hungry was held???

Well if you didn't already know, it was held yesterday in New Lamka with singers from Churachandpur, Mizoram and Myanmar singing their hearts out for the hunger stricken people whose agricultural farms have come under relentless attack from rodents, whose population have swelled due to Mautaam or Bamboo flowering in the interior parts of the district. Coincidentally,just prior to the Concert organized by COMFA, Committee of Mautaam Famine Aids with generous sponsorship from Zomi Aids, Japan, the lethargic attitude of the Manipur Government changed and it finally released over 5 crores relief funds given to it by the central government way back in June for countering Mautaam.

Atleast the Manipur Government is reacting musically..
